We leave tomorrow for the RMQT Spring Tour 2014!! We may even see a moose this time!! We will definitely see the wolfdogs at the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary as well as the dinner theater show “Oh, Canada, Eh?” in Canmore and the new Glacier Skyway at the Columbia Icefields. We will meet the Quilter Guilds of Cochrane and Canmore for a show and tell and fabric exchange, have High Tea at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, luxuriate in the Banff Hot Springs, walk around the magnificent Lake Louise, hike up Johnson Canyon, and for the piece de resistence – enjoy workshopping with Joan Statz at the “Festival of Quilts” in Calgary, then wandering the grounds of Heritage Park visiting the quilt displays and joining the Canadian Quilters for the Festival of Quilts presentation Dinner.
