Home again after the best Summer Tour ever ! The waterfalls and rivers at this time of year are just massive and we saw some beauties!! The wolfdogs were great again and the girls loved feeding them by hand. Always a bit scary at first, but they are so gentle. The quilt shops we visited were very generous and we even did a Canadian ‘Row by Row’ challenge at Sugar Pine Quilt Shop in Canmore. The Canadian quilters loved Dorothy’s Thread painting and Chris’s award winning quilts and the fabric exchange was great too. As always Chateau Lake Louise was a stand out, with a crystal lake and wonderful mountains. We saw some wildlife, but visited a Wildlife Sanctuary in Kamloops to fill in the blanks! The great weather meant we could do a few hikes and it was just amazing to walk through the pine forests beside the rushing rivers. We filled our SD cards with wonderful photos and made memories for a lifetime. I found an Alaskan Quilt Cruise in early May next year that I could attach to my Spring Tour 2016 -anyone interested?!!
