Canada in winter is just amazing! Snowy vistas abound and in the Rocky Mountains the views are just magical.
The frozen Lake Louise is a hive of winter activities to participate in or to watch. See ice skaters weaving in and out of an Ice Castle built right on the Lake, or view the amazing Ice Sculptures within the grounds of the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
Enjoy a Dog Sledding Tour or walk to a frozen waterfall and gasp at the ice climbers. Swim in natural hot springs in Banff or ride the Gondola up Sulphur Mountain for amazing views of the surrounding mountains and frozen lakes.
